Suggester said: "I love this photo for its almost abstact/surreal feeling that is still connected to the real world partly because of the masks but mainly because of the eyes of the right person! They really caught my attention! A very strong eyesight that is amplified even more by the overall composition and red color." Wow, the way everything is enveloped in red makes it very catching to the eye. Good capture!

And when he gets to Heaven to Saint Peter he will tell, "Just another soldier reporting sir. I've served my time in hell."

This is STUNNING. The eye contact is absolutely key in this piece, even through the masks! It is beautiful and disturbing at the same time. There is almost an underlying accusatory tone like we're voyeurs observing something dangerous. I also love the upward movement of the cloth...it looks like they are being swept up in flames. Terrific piece, and a very much deserved DD!

I want to die like my grandmother died- asleep and at peace...not screaming like the passengers in her car.

This is SUCH a cool picture! I can't stop staring at it :-O

What caught me was the vibrant red color but what really drew me in was the eyes. It's almost surreal, the way in the first mask, you can't really see a face, but in the second mask there is a glimpse of a person. It's a wonderful capture.
